Each rug carries generations of Berber knowledge — woven by hand, one knot at a time, by artisan families in Azilal, Beni Ourain & the High Atlas.

Born in the Atlas,
Made for the World
Azilal Atelier was founded by a Berber family from the Middle Atlas mountains with a single mission — to bring the world's most authentic handwoven rugs directly to the homes and studios that deserve them, without compromise.
For over 15 years, we have worked side by side with over 350 weaving families. We do not manufacture — we preserve. Every rug leaves our hands with a certificate of authenticity, a weaver story card, and the weight of generations behind it.
Our Most Coveted Rugs
Three Models.
Infinite Possibilities.
Every rug we make exists in three distinct constructions — each with its own weight, texture, and purpose. All 100% natural. All available in any size, color, or pattern.
— Tapis Épais
Our flagship construction. Dense hand-knotted pile in 100% pure Atlas wool — thick, warm, and built to last a lifetime. The kind of rug that anchors a room and grows richer every year.
— Tapis Léger
All the beauty, half the weight. A finer, more supple construction — perfect for warmer climates, hallways, children's rooms, or layering over existing flooring. 100% wool, never synthetic.
— Tissage Plat
The traditional Berber flatweave — no pile, pure textile. Used for centuries as both floor covering and blanket throw. Reversible, lightweight, with signature hand-knotted tassels on each end.
Your Model
Send us your vision — a photo, a sketch, a color swatch, or just words. Our artisans will bring it to life in any of our three models, in any size, any pattern.
